Nurses' Ministry
Welcome
Always in proper dress, the Mount Ephraim Baptist Church Nurses’ Ministry Team wears their uniforms with Christian pride, and is easily identifiable. A team member is on duty at our 7:30am and 11:45am worship services and 9:15am Sunday School Service.
The Nurses’ Ministry supports, assists and ensures that proper assistance is provided for the Pastor and First Family, members, parishioners, guest speakers, and visitors at our Sunday morning worship services, revivals and other special church programs and services. In addition, we devote special focus on the elderly, disabled, and handicapped, and work in conjunction with the Ladies’ Auxiliary and Men’s Usher Board to ensure comfort and support to all while attending services at Mount Ephraim. Our nurses also make available water or juice for Pastor, pulpit associates, guest speakers, and choirs during the various services.
We accompany the Pastor on his travel and the church to various special speaking engagements and fellowship outings.
Other duties that are provided, team members of the Nurses’ Ministry support and assist bereaved families at Homegoing services, wakes, and funerals and travel with the Pastor and families to the cemetery.
Our Nurses’ Station is equipped with ice, band aids, cups, hot tea, and a cot for brief rests. The facilities in the Nurses’ Station are wheelchair accessible. Our nurses do not dispense medications; however, we will make every effort to provide assistance if someone is in need of medical attention. If we are unable to provide assistance, we will make an emergency call to 911.
Mission Statement
